About
Kate Good:
A number of years ago, Kate Good, President of Creative Training
Partners, began her career in the Multi-family housing industry.
Within weeks, she became the number one Leasing Consultant
at Trammell Crow Residential in the competitive South Florida
Market. For the next 13 months she maintained a spot in the
companies top ten. Kate gained recognition for her leasing
skills by leasing 48 apartments and signing 53 renewals in
just one month (now that's a lot of paperwork!). Known for
her leasing and marketing talents, Kate traveled to over 35
markets specializing in new construction leasing and critical
needs communities. In 1990, she moved to Chicago to assume
the position of Director of Training where she was responsible
for the creation and delivery of an extensive selection of
courses in all areas of property management.
To
expand her training expertise, Kate joined Daytimers as the
National Director of Training. She presented time management
seminars to the nation’s Fortune 500 companies and appeared
on NBC Nightly News as an expert in time management and personal
organization.
Kate
rejoined the industry as the Director of People Success for
Gables Residential Trust. She created Gables University offering
extensive coursework and six-degree programs. Kate’s
contributions also included the design of marketing plans
and target leasing campaigns. Since leaving Gables in December
of 1997, Kate has developed her career as a professional speaker
where she provides a unique delivery style, which she calls
edutainment where participants have fun while they learn.
In addition to speaking, Kate has served as a consultant to
developers of the new construction and successful lease up
of apartments in Atlanta, Birmingham, and Mobile. Her consulting
practice took on an additional service in 1999 when she began
sharing her expertise with two new Internet start up companies,
RentPort and YieldStar™.
In
August of 1999, Kate joined forces with her father to start
Net Mystery Shopper. Recognizing the emerging trend towards
Internet marketing and leasing, Kate designed an Internet
Marketing Audit and Mystery Shop, which provides their customers
with essential information to lease more apartments and gain
a competitive edge over the competition.
Kate
is the Immediate Past Chairmen of NAHB’s Pillars of
the Industry Awards, member of the Editorial Board for Training
Today Magazine. She is a Registered Apartment Manager (RAM),
and Certified Leasing Professional (CLP) and serves as a trustee
for The National Association of Home Builders Multifamily
Council.
Kate’s
active participation in marketing and leasing through her
consulting work ensures audiences that the content of her
programs will always be cutting edge and innovative. Her leasing
and marketing methods are tested in the real world and always
leave the audience wanting more!
