About Carla Gulick:
Carla Gulick is the President of ConsultApts, a firm designed
to assist any property owner, investor or management company
with property consulting, marketing and employee training.
Carla
Gulick launched her career in the multifamily housing industry
18 years ago while attending college at Illinois State University.
Before receiving her Bachelor’s Degree, she held the
position as the Director of Student Services for the Landlord/Tenant
Association, an organization developed to assist students
in off campus housing. Upon graduation, she was hired as a
Leasing Professional, and within the first three months, was
recognized and awarded for her excellent work ethic and sales
skills.
To
gain a full understanding of rental residential property management,
she worked her way up the ranks by holding positions as Leasing
Director, Assistant Property Manager, Property Manager and
Multi-Site Supervisor for large nationally recognized property
management firms. During the last 11 years of her career,
she has followed her true calling and has been involved in
marketing and training/mentoring of employees. She has handled
a portfolio as large as 30,000 units in numerous markets throughout
the country, which included all types of properties.
Her
emphasis has been in acquisitions, product development, market
penetration and marketing/sales management. She is widely
experienced in property repositioning, market research, troubleshooting
underperforming assets, advertising and sales promotion, public
relations and training/supervision. Carla has presented numerous
seminars for the Institute of Real Estate Management, Multi-Housing
World and several local apartment associations. She has been
acknowledged for her interactive style and mirthful spirit.
Carla’s
experience has given her a broad knowledge of the industry
and therefore allows her to take a “complete”
approach in all property consulting and training services
provided.
